Because here in the EU, 32 countries, and even on mastodon I still only get suggested US stuff, which is really annoying and kind of why I left regular social media. I could explain you more detail if you'd like.
@rolle Looks interesting, though 10000 chars is a bit too much I think and invites people to write more detailed then needed.
On the other hand, I've been looking for a feature that would really be interesting: make a regional setting for the explore tabs.
