@bgtlover there's a bookmarklet. It works like this: you add a special bookmark to the browser bookmark bar which you click when you want to save a page; a little window pop ups where you edit data if you want and press Save. I'm pretty sure it can be bound to a hotkey somehow, though not exactly sure how.

As for the browser extension, there were some private developments, but the author didn't share, so we don't have one currently.
