We do have a storied history, when I first met my partner and stayed over, he was very aggressive and attacky, lil did I know it was because he smelled other cats on me, but yeah, I'd wake up with him on my chest staring at me, and then he peed on my fav hoodie.

He's no longer allowed in our bedroom, but my dog is, and Tuk will lash out sometimes at my doggo Drake as if hes jealous haha

Anyways, I love this crazy beast, and I want him to stick around so I guess a low key diet is the plan!

There's an air diffuser that puts out a scent that calms cats. There are treats too. Maybe those could help.

I thought it hokum but my wife got them for our overly anxious siamese and they appear to work.

@dansup if you don’t know, I’ve heard we have to be very careful about putting a cat on a diet. Their systems can’t take the harsh way humans diet. I would talk to my vet and see what they recommend. Good luck!
