@Gargron Apart from the milking of an extremely well established show, there are two potential net positives I see:

- Similar to the One Piece live action that recently came out - it brought in a lot of new fans to the series. However, there is the argument that one piece has 1000+ chapters/episodes and a 10 episode live action makes it much easier to watch.

- I know a few people who haven't watched Avatar because it's a cartoon (which is a shame imo). They're more likely to watch it as a fantasy series.
