@Gargron Though I am curious how many producers are considering how their mix sounds on phone speakers since it’s increasingly a common way people consume music. Via videos on social media and whatnot @Gargron @samhenrigold i forget who but $famous_producer_in_70s was well known for mixing the sound for… 8 tracks in car stereos since that’s how most people would be listening to it! @Gargron @samhenrigold Whenever someone on the public transport is using their phone speakers to listen to their music, I have the urge to smash their device. Not only because of the bad sound, but also because this simply is an annoyance for the surrounding people.
Michael, I also observed that whenever someone plays music loudly in public, be it through their phone or car stereo, it's almost always the shitty, tasteless kind of music too |
@Gargron The first gen has a recessed headphone jack, my only 3.5mm cable doesn’t fit! Apparently they did this because Jobs thought the headphone jack was ugly. I just ordered an adapter on ebay, I’m curious how the DAC is
