but ya ive also only used ball point pens in my sketchbooks for p much my whole adult life (tho i never post anything .-.)
i like the way you described the sneaky sketch method; zebra pens are my fav in that regard...
lately ive switched to fountain and brush pens, which makes it even harder to grapple with the inevitable busted ass sketch lmao
@Splig I tried brush pen (pentel type, but a old one, maybe I have to find a more precise one) and fountain pen and I was like "Nope! I can't operate this way" 😆 But I miss a bit of thickness to my lines and generosity. I never tried Zebra pen, maybe a brand that is not implemented well in France; a lot of Bic, Reynolds, Pentel, Stabilo, Staedler, Faber Castle here. I'll try to purchase one and try it ( oh, I checked them online: ink gel, cool).
