 @aral @danielsreichenbach @f4grx organised, abrahamistic religions not all religions do that; in paganism it is a common theme, for example, that the gods won’t save you but they give you a reason (sometimes even an arse kick) to save yourself, and it’s a natural companion to science, not opposed to science like US-american evangelicals |
