@dansup I have no dog in this federation fight, but my thought is: the nomenclature on this feels awkward. Purely as UX. Just as a normal user, if I wanted to follow a Threads user, I'm not sure my initial thought would be to unblock. That's the inverse of following, which sounds counterintuitive. I mean I would know what to do here, but I also host my own servers. Would John Q. Public know how to follow his buddy on another service? 🤷♂️ Maybe the question doesn't matter.  |

In trying to a strike balance between those that want to interact with Threads vs not, I think this is the most reasoned approach I’ve seen so far..
