@spots1000 @yurnidiot @yurnidiot Where can I get this game; sounds like fun! All those balls in one hand! :) @yurnidiot There would have to be some silly rules... maybe "Must have a string of at least 3 balls" Otherwise you could play indefinitely. @frigginglorious @yurnidiot I found it by searching Amazon for "magnet game" https://amzn.eu/d/i7mPxxP @grincheux @niavy @yurnidiot Dans le commerce tu trouveras Kluster, même principe sans le plateau. @niavy @yurnidiot @grincheux sinon, on le trouve dans le commerce : https://www.philibertnet.com/fr/borderline/81718-kluster-3770003625605.html @niko @niavy @yurnidiot @grincheux kluster m'a même l'air plus complexe avec szs différentes formes d'aimant et plus simple a remporter partout @yurnidiot that looks like a really fun game! the objective for each player is to get rid of all their pieces, right? Do you know what it's called? I play a version that doesn't need a board: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/277458/kluster just some strong magnets and a piece of string to delimit a playing area (you are also allowed to pull the string to move the magnets) @yurnidiot I played something similar to this at an event once, except instead of a board, you had to fit all the magnets within a big circle of string. You could move the string, so long as you didn't disturb any magnets already in play. @yurnidiot Very cool. Was wondering where you could buy it. It's available on Amazon @yurnidiot The person on top reminds me of Abed. (Edited to correct some weird sexist bias that I'm apparently working on.) @yurnidiot I wonder how strong these magnets are? Could be a pinch hazard, and definitely not something to have around small children. @neonlights84 @yurnidiot Strong magnets are definitely 100% no for any child young enough to think of swallowing one. @yurnidiot I had to try this, printed a board ... It needs bigger spacing to really be playable, but it works!
@yurnidiot damn this looks cool as hell... is it actually available to buy? kinda looks like it's 3d printed? I see something similar frequently advertised on FB. Looks both very simple and great fun. 😎 Awesome! The auto-translation of the German Amazon.com page helpfully explained the rules of 2 games you can play with it: "Game History 1: Don't doubt how it works. Show the same number of figures, gradually place the magnetic figures on the board. The winner is the person who can fully show any figure and then sucks up all the characters that are not magnetic...." 1/2 2/2 Game 3: Step on leads and throw out magnetized shapes. If you are bored, you can also relax and have fun by throwing the pieces loosely on the board. Due to the magnetic field, the pieces are continuously attracted in different strange shapes." @yurnidiot is the goal to collect the balls or get rid of them? Because they're playing like the latter instead of trying to take quick tricks. @yurnidiot Voor de Nederlandse geïnteresseerden, er is hier een 'kinderspel' van met blokjes hematiet. @yurnidiot this is fantastic, love the chess-like board, it reminds me of Kluster, which is extremely similar in its rules. @yurnidiot People play this without the board. Just get magnets and any space. Works best with square ones though without the board. |
@yurnidiot This looks really fun. Any idea what it is called? I imagine this game would be an easy candidate for 3D printing. I don't know how easy it would be to source the magnetic balls though, haven't seen those around.
