Is there anyone who still use Windows and could give this person a hand with their task of setting up Orca though something called Cygwin?

@neauoire oh my god I haven't thought about cygwin in twenty years

@neauoire maybe I misunderstood the earlier discussion, but maybe plugging some other tools to access the clipboard might be easier? Assuming the issue is really just around launching the programs for that which don't exist on windows? stackoverflow.com/questions/17

@neauoire Cygwin is kind of prehistoric and heavyweight, but there is pbcopy for Windows, called CLIP.EXE.

paste is a bit trickier, you either have to use powersnail or the paste.exe from here: c3scripts.com/tutorials/msdos/

There's probably a dozen similar implementations that are less trouble than Cygwin and its myriad of dependencies.

What CLIP.EXE does and where it is. No idea which version of Windows introduced it.

(Please don't answer here, the author will not read messages on the fediverse, I don't know what Cygwin is, and I don't have a workstation to test any of this. If you can, please answer on the forum thread itself)
