@neauoire maybe I misunderstood the earlier discussion, but maybe plugging some other tools to access the clipboard might be easier? @neauoire Cygwin is kind of prehistoric and heavyweight, but there is pbcopy for Windows, called CLIP.EXE.

paste is a bit trickier, you either have to use powersnail or the paste.exe from here: https://www.c3scripts.com/tutorials/msdos/paste.html

There's probably a dozen similar implementations that are less trouble than Cygwin and its myriad of dependencies.
