Do I understand correctly that Gash and Gash-Utils can run on top of just Mes during the bootstrap, without full Gulie?

@filip Yes!
For Gash, you need the wip-modular-mes branch, and for Gash-Utils the wip-mes branch.

This hasn't been integrated in the bootstrap yet, so there might still be surprises/some work to do.
