@TechConnectify I understand now what you're saying about Twitter. I would have thought that platform would be far worse, but you're saying they're giving you some filtering that Mastodon isn't giving you. And I can understand how that would suck. I hope you're giving that feedback to the people that can change that in this platform.

I actually have voiced this to folks at the top - but I'm not quite sure they understood the urgency and importance of my needs.

I'm sincerely not trying to voice those needs selfishly - I would like to see this idea succeed. But it needs major tweaks for folks like me to exist here, and without (for lack of a better word) cheerleaders encouraging folks to come here... people probably won't.

@TechConnectify It is not selfish to ask for a quality of life feature request, and frankly most of the things you're asking for are non-obvious til you experience them and probably won't get implemented without some level of noise; either because the masto devs want you to stop complaining about it or someone who knows how to implement the features you're asking for submits a patch for them (or runs their own fork with those features implemented). You seem to be the loudest, most visible voice on these issues right now and it's certainly made me rethink how I reply to people who get a lot of replies, so it has at least had a small impact.

...Unfortunately though even if someone decides to implement your requests right now I'm not actually sure how fast some could be done. It might be a long time.
