 @ErikUden seeing as your public IP isn't Vodafone's they'd have to prove it first. But as if Vodafone gives enough shits to really investigate it for peanuts, you'd have to be running Netflix.com on it to grab their interest. Some people just have easy lives and create problems to entertain themselves. btw, I rail 100GB+ a month on a residential ADSL+4G combo and my not Vodafone sized ISP doesn't even throttle the 4G booster, let alone demand a biz contract, so good luck to them 5 comments
@ErikUden I mean they could sell me out to Vodafone but they'd have to figure out what its called here and have a real fucking great technical level of French to do it (and then realise I'm not with that shit company 😂). But again, they could dig + whois me, my ISP even gave me a full stack fixed IPv4 for nothing just because I clicked a buttion that said I want it and knew what I was doing. So they kind of just assume if you do that, you're doing something of that nature, no questions asked  |
