My goal with #metro5 is to focus on the content, and expand photography related features like exif/metadata, collections and portfolios
This is an early prototype of how posts will look, feedback and boosts much appreciated!

@dansup@mastodon.social maybe need better icon for aperture โ:blobfoxthonking:โ @dansup looks sharp! And I understand the focus on photography, metadata, etc if you want to position #pixelfed as a social photo sharing network. However: If you want it to be more like an Instagram replacement - which is more about sharing visual stories/blogs, announcements, illustrations (not photographs per-se) - those exif info is less relevant I guess. @individual8 @dansup would be nice to see images from a specific camera or lens only indeed @dansup EXIF is great for photographers and those that want to learn! Very Flickr. I agree that it could be an optional setting to turn on instead since Instagram is not primarily for photographers. @dansup very awesome. I migrated from Flickr to Pixelfed and this is what has been missing for me. @dansup it looks much better! ๐ Maybe some icons could be better, but this is a detail. Here are the ones I use on my own photography site: https://nicolas-hoizey.photo/galleries/misc/miniature/ho-scale-1-87/soft-touch-danger/ |
@dansup That reminds me of good old Flickr! And that is good! ;-)
