I've played a lot of Modern Warfare 2 (1) back then. 12 GB on disk was plenty to run it. Cyberpunk, a moderately optimized game with a huge world and massive content needs 70 GB, so how the hell do you justify 175 GB? It's just insane.

(Backstory: I finally went ahead and got a good PC to play modern games. I was drowning in FOMO.) @garritfra Congrats! What did you get? I hope it has acceleration RGB to make it as fast as possible. ;) @thomas of course! :smart: I got an i5 12600, Radeon RX 6650 XT (OC edition) and 32 GB of RAM. Good enough to run all games in my library on highest settings, including Half Life Alyx in VR, which is on sale right now. :allthethings: |
Remember those days where you were given a choice to install high resolution textures if you had the beef to run it? Good times.
