They adjusted the mv3 capabilities for adblockers. They listened to Adguard.
So I wouldn't be as drastic as "they will kill it", it's more of a we don't cripple it as badly as we planned before.
@taketwo@social.tchncs.de@nixCraft@mastodon.social Google only confirmed they would continue pushing MV3, in that sense the description "Google confirms they will disable uBlock Origin in Chrome" is misleading at best.
And the MV3-compatible uBlock Origin Lite (by the same developer) is already on Chrome Web Store, though yes it's much less capable than the MV2 version.
