They come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. My website is a kind of personal wiki.

tiddlywiki(varios ways to run it locally) or tiddlyhost.com/ if you want it on the web

@aquaqueer @jameschip note that this is not a comprehensive list of wiki engines, its just 3 things I happen to try for an extended period of time and found them nice for personal, local first, wiki like note taking
