@JohnBloor There hasn't been any issues with uploading media aside from limitations from Mastodon servers. @ivory I tried your app but it didn't show any of my embedded videos so I came back to the Mastodon app @JohnBloor You'd have to show us more specifically what the issue was for us to be able to resolve it. But there are no major issues with uploading or viewing media in Ivory. @ivory ok well I downloaded it for my iPhone, it didn't show any of my YouTube embedded videos just links to them...I would love to use your app. It looks really nice. @JohnBloor This is more of a network/server issue than our app. The API provides us the post data as well as the card for an external website (generated by the server) and sometimes that isn't generated fast enough when we display the post. If that data isn't there, we can't display it initially. Tapping on the post to go to the detail view should provide enough time to retrieve it in those scenarios. @sleepy When it does that next time, use the "Contact Us" button under Ivory's Help menu and send us an email describing what you did to cause the crash. Crash logs should also get automatically attached. @ivory Sigh, just happened and tried to use contact us. It opened chrome which I haven't used in years and refuse to use now. So here is what I did. I had ivory open for awhile and got a reply, clicked on the bell icon and it crashed. I have the crash report window open. I'll copy down the details if it doesn't get to you some other way. @sleepy It uses your default mail app, but really it only works with Apple's Mail app. @sleepy You can also copy all the contents of the crash window and email it to us at support+ivory@tapbots.com. Just give us a description of what caused the crash.  @ivory @freediverx Haven't experienced it. Try restarting the app and see if it persists.  @scanner All of this is planned to be improved. We will let you customize the sidebar (and the action buttons under posts) in the future.  @ivory Widgets still look weird on Mac. @andresmareli We are aware and will fix it. Apple made changes that broke it in a recent update. @ivory Great. But most software on the App Store, when updated on the store, shows up under “updates” simply enters the Apple App Store. Also there's a notification occasionally that software updates are available. I downloaded from the Store, also I"m a subscriber for MacOS and iOS. But for Ivory on the Mac, I get none of these notifications, so I may or may not see your posting on Mastodon. @willett We generally set our updates to roll out to users over time so not everyone will see it in updates on the first day. That's why we make the post with the URL to the main app store page if you want to force update it right away.  @ivory hurrah. I would like to complain that choosing "About Ivory” does not show the version number, which it ought to. That is the main reason to look there. Whoops: guess what's in the release notes! @fmeyer Can look into it, but not anytime soon. Different fonts can cause all kinds of formatting issues and it would have to be something we thoroughly test before deciding if it's a good idea or not. @ivory yo folks, you guys are awesome and doing a great job, except, that there's one problem....I can't try your app. I am an #Android user. But I want to try your app. I am a Linux user as well. I don't have a Mac or iPhone - any. Soooo....mind do a release for Android and Linux Mint? Thank you very much.
