So would it be like having a particular subreddit in your “home” feed to on Reddit?

If you are using a Mastodon client what you can do is follow "subreddits" (communities) and then add them to a list and mute them on your home page. For example, making a list called "Video Games" and then adding the account "@gaming" to it will effectively create a feed of that gaming community to that list. So now when you click the "Video Game" list it brings you to that. You can add as many accounts as you want to these lists and basically create your own personal multireddits.

@vertana @gaming ok... this is brilliant. I have been using lists like I did on Twitter and never thought of using them to follow lemmy groups.
