By which time, if we are still using that much oil or gas, humanity is in deep trouble. @EyalL @Ulzana @MiriShuli @Niall @chu You're actually going to need a lot of fossil fuels to do the switching, too. Building out solar and wind, installing transmission lines, all that stuff is currently fossil fuel powered. We need to bootstrap it onto renewable ASAP. Need to be able to make batteries and solar panels using batteries and solar panels to run the process, first of all. Then you can figure out all the motive power for installing stuff. |

When the fossil fuels become unaffordable by many, you can't use that as an opportunity to stop production of fossil fuels, at their expense
You have to work on expanding green and nuclear energy production. And Biden's admin did that too
