@christinkallama @jeffowski Indeed! It was actually an age of huge technological advancement, with scientific treatises set to verse in Latin. It's referred to by some as the "first renaissance" because it was partly due to exposure to ancient texts on engineering. The "dark ages" was a term invented by later ages to make themselves feel smarter. It's early modern propaganda.
