@darnell @Gargron yeah, i think that seems likely, and as long as all those services #Threads, #Mastodon et al are interoperable to a degree, then team #ActivityPub may be a real 'winner'

Agree re #X / #twitter remaining a hub for politics, or maybe more breaking news in general, given that Threads is actively unkeen to promote current affairs disinformation. That could be where the fragmentation crack happens.
