@mediocratese It’s sad. Luckily the lakes and parks in this area were saved but a lot was burnt.
@andrewbriscoe Over the ages Forest Fires have lead to regeneration of habitat but not like we’re seeing today. Logging companies going in right away for salvage opportunities and then replanting ‘desirable’ monoculture ‘product’. 🤦♂️
