@scopelmatt I get that, for Public stories, you will not be able to see who viewed. I'm considering adding the ability for Story authors to disable "who viewed" for follower-only stories as well @dansup Ah, making public stories not do this improves this, thank you! And having an option for authors would be great too, even if I’d love a user option to do it, that perhaps makes it impossible to see who views your own stories, similarly to how disabling Whatsapp’s blue tic makes it impossible for you to see it as well. |
@dansup I personally feel that this particular feature of Instagram’s implementation of stories could have been left out, or be made an optional opt-in. I’d rather not have authors know my identity when reading their stuff, if I don’t explicitly choose to interact.
