@dansup@mastodon.social @pixelfed@mastodon.social I hope we can get an archiving feature soon on #Pixelfed. I've been using Pixelfed a lot and for a while, and now planning to carry over posts from my old, deactivated #Instagram account to Pixelfed for archiving purposes. It'd be great if archived posts imported to Pixelfed will stay archived, or at the very least we could archive them manually. @dansup @pixelfed Is adding to stories from camera roll planned? Also, I feel like there are too many steps to add to stories on iOS. You have to press the Plus button at the bottom, then the Timer icon, then Open Camera. Maybe add a plus at the top left next to My Story icon, or just swipe from left edge to get to the camera just like Instagram? @EighthLayer @pixelfed Yes adding from camera roll is planned, and long pressing the My Story should take you to the story camera, how does that sound? @dansup @pixelfed If think long pressing My Story directly to the story camera would be perfect. Just not to the screen that says “Open Camera” or “Go Back to Feed” in my opinion. Also, a little thing I’ve noticed is I get an odd splash screen then swipe in from the right when I open the app. Is this by design? |
@dansup @pixelfed I'm really excited by this feature. Honestly, given the trends in social media, it's what the #fediverse has been missing. Great stuff!
