 One annoying aspect of the @pixelfed app is how app settings were not synced between devices or sessions I recently shipped support for first and third party app settings to allow synchronized settings across apps! Imagine setting your theme to dark mode in @PixelDroid and then logging in to the official app with dark mode automatically set, wouldn't that be nice 😎 5 comments
@leadegroot @pixelfed @PixelDroid Good point, maybe we should ask the user first, and allow them to select between configurations? I could expand this to allow one to name and organize "setting profiles" that could be used across supported apps   @dansup @leadegroot @pixelfed @PixelDroid Profiles seems overly complicated in terms of UI. Maybe just sync by default and have a switch to not sync |
