on a related topic, will #Mastodon & #PixelFed need to include markers/tags when media contains sponsored material or is a CW sufficient? Some nations require some level of disclosure; how have some AP services tackled this?

Here's what Instagram does (image 1). I also spotted another one that just says "sponsored". It's application seems a little spotty and inconsistent. On youtube I've seen image 2. I can't access twitter so I have no idea what they use.
