@dansup imagine we offered a set of helpful algorithms just like we have a set of pretty photo filters, and imagine that we had full transparency about how those algorithms work, and imagine that we allowed savvy users the agency to tweak the algorithms to their liking and even create their own

@dragfyre not sure if you're being sarcastic, but we can do that.

I'm not against allowing admins or users the ability to add custom feeds or algorithms, but I am against the idea of removing the current feeds or changing the chronological nature of the 3 current feeds

@dansup not sarsactic at all, sorry for giving that impression 🙁 I do feel like expanding our vocabulary of algorithms, as it were, will be a big plus for fedi - and as you said, chronological as a base just makes sense.

@dansup I believe a multi-pronged approach would work. 1) Custom feeds 2) simple weighted algorithms https://fediview.com
3) like old Instagram create hashtag challenges 4)community voting 5) if you want to have select trusted users then I would recommend building in Smart Contracts
