I will be shipping the Groups beta ASAP (without federation initially) and will work out federation and UI improvements along with community feedback afterwards.

The groups timeline is separate, each group also has its own timeline. Not that confusing right?

@dansup please can you prioritise the proper location tagging functionality once the groups get out of the way. There are numerous registered issues on GitHub, one I contributed to is https://github.com/pixelfed/pixelfed/issues/3277
