@renwillis @MeanwhileinCanada No, those are not worth doing, especially not when they necessitate surgery. But it's a flawed assumption that everything is *boring* that needs no explanation. @MaryAustinBooks @MeanwhileinCanada butt stuff is good, but be smart! However, if things go awry, no shame from me. @MaryAustinBooks @renwillis @MeanwhileinCanada @MaryAustinBooks I think they meant explain in a very broad sense, i.e. if it's self-explanatory then you've already explained it! (and it's also true for the explanation to the 911 dispatcher that is going to be passed on to the paramedics...) @MeanwhileinCanada I once went to a gathering of (gay) motorbikers where two guys showed up with injuries. @MichaelPorter @MeanwhileinCanada the corollary of this is never do anything you’re unwilling to write on an ER intake form. I have a similar saying that I thought I made up; How's it going to sound when you explain it to the cops when it all goes wrong? Base your decision on that. @billyjoebowers @MeanwhileinCanada Trick question: talking to cops is only for witnesses and victims. @MeanwhileinCanada Pffft. These folks already know it's my life goal to be their most outlandish patient. @MeanwhileinCanada sorry to break the news but there's something called orgasm-induced headache so… @MeanwhileinCanada Wow. What every mother needs to tell her kids right after she gives them the "always wear clean underpants" speech, and just before the "don't bring shame to the family" mantra. @MeanwhileinCanada another good rule is to never put your fingers anywhere you wouldn't feel safe to put your penis @fcktheworld587 @MeanwhileinCanada slowly, slowly working my way up to being able to use that chin-up bar again...
@fcktheworld587 @MeanwhileinCanada Me, cleaning the dog's ears: I'm a hard "no" on that one. @MeanwhileinCanada I think a lot of people here in 'Murika would be proud to explain stuff to the paramedics that... really they should not be proud of. "I thought it would be hilarious to set off 5000 bottle rockets pointed at my head at once. It totally was! How bad will the scars be?" @MeanwhileinCanada I had this kind of thinking since like middle school. Never do something that might look bad in court or in the news, I would tell myself. @MeanwhileinCanada "Oh, this? Really really funny story actually sit down you're gonna laugh. Ok, so on the site it said it was only 7 inches..." @MeanwhileinCanada there isn't much I wouldn't tell a paramedic ... giggles ... I also hope to be in their hall of fame too ... Blush Hugz & xXx @MeanwhileinCanada got so many stupid ppl here smoking their cigarets in their car, opened window, throwing hot ashes thru it while driving (then also throwing cigarette butt, of course) Don't know what to do  |
@MeanwhileinCanada conversely, if you don't need to explain it, was it even worth doing?
