Gregory's Server@dansup I love all the good vibes you are spreading with your work. It takes its time, but things are growing steadily! If I had one question it would be: Why the IG references in the looks and UI? Of course there is no need to invent the wheel for everything, but diffenrent colour schemes for example would be simple one and it would bring more identity. Keep up the good work!

 @dansup @pixelfed I left IG years ago in spite of social interactions that were fruitful. But surveillance capitalism has been internalised through and through by that app. Luckily there's the fediverse. But still, coexistence is a beautiful thought, a plant that needs to be taken care of. So once more, thank you for driving this! I can see that you are not up for being the biggest player, but leaving room for everyone. That is very important.  |

Early on, I emulated IG in the UI because I was still trying to feel out our own unique brand and feel.
As @pixelfed evolves, we're finding our own way and diverging from the "IG clone" mentality - still a ways to go but we're well on our way!
I love Instagram, and think if they do ever join the fedi that we can peacefully coexist!
