 Whatβs the reason Pixelfed uses a centralized (non-free?) service to detect whether the instance can be used for the sign in with Mastodon feature? @mkljczk So that admins can limit the number of times an account is used, they don't have to use it if they don't want to but it's a good way to prevent someone using this on every Pixelfed instance! https://github.com/pixelfed/pixelfed/blob/dev/config/remote-auth.php#L52  @dansup i have a seperate mastodon and pixelfed account , since way before , any chance i can merge them both ?? @dansup @doktorzjivago Tried it as soon as I read the toot.
