As we're building out the new metro5 UI, we're making some bold changes.

Not sure if the side is the best place, all mobile devices have tall screens so it will take a lot of unnecessary space

@pixelfed I like the fresh looking new design.
Maybe off topic, but can admins restrict the number of hashtags in a single post or set a predefined list of hashtags that users can select?

@pixelfed Really happy to see this new layout! PixelFed is one of the best things in the Fediverse. I was a big fan of the original Instagram and PixelFed is a marvelous app.

@pixelfed utilization of wasted space in mostly wide-screen dominated desktop environments, is a good thing 😁 I'm always sad, when mostly desktop web app push so many things on top or bottom of view, and shows empties on both sides 😕
