@grishka I keep my new magic trackpad from 2015 plugged in all the time. I’ve found it’s a worthwhile upgrade from the first gen (also in my box of things) just for not having to think about swapping batteries, finding the rechargeable ones, waiting for those to charge up  sam henri gold, I'm waiting for them to switch to USB-C, the fewer lightning devices I own the better @grishka @samhenrigold If you ask me, Apple's biggest HID sin is deciding that full height keys aren't stylish enough and switching to chiclet keys for desktops. They're harder to type on, with the smaller gaps between keycaps making typing on them more prone to mistakes. And this change ended up creating a trend, seemingly dragging the rest of the industry along. I much preferred the last two full height models! (And on a purely aesthetic note, I miss Univers on the keycaps.)  |
oof, I still use the first-gen battery-powered magic trackpad and I absolutely hate its wirelessness, it doesn't HAVE to be wireless always being in the same spot on my desk very close to a USB port, but it is because wires are unsightly apparently
