I’ve got to say that the things @dansup is doing with #pixelfed and its mobile app are super impressive. It’s quickly becoming a decent Insta alternative

@matthewburton @dansup there is an official pixelfed app. I think it might still be in beta, but not 100% on that. I joined the beta on iOS and it’s great

@dansup @jerry i have a question i hope one of can answer for me.

i created an account on pixelfed.social with a particular username. i now realize that i can log into using my primary mastodon account. however, the two accounts share the same username, and i get a "username taken" message when i try to log in to pixelfed with my mastodon account.

if i delete my pixelfed account with that username, will i be able to log in with my mastodon creds and use that username, or is it burned forever in the pixelfed domain?
