@SebinNyshkim @chirpbirb @Nomaxice @Tiwy57 I had to use Control Panel for Twitter to get rid of garbage and have the chronological TL on that place. No one batted an eye when I said I was using that. People get weird about extensions for stuff they're not familiar with though. Like it's not an uncommon thing, you're just getting antsy over needing something extra for something new. @KingDeadWolf @chirpbirb @Nomaxice @Tiwy57 Unlike with corporate social media where they'll just do as they please and you as a user just have to hope and pray they're gonna be implementing something that pleases you, you can actually go to the developers and ask for features. I just can't fathom how that's like not a huge benefit in people's minds? You can influence where all this is going. You have AGENCY with this Meanwhile people be like "Nah, I'd rather be miserable" hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh… @SebinNyshkim @chirpbirb @Nomaxice @Tiwy57 I've had to scold friends who don't bother using an adblocker for YouTube. Like it's right there, you don't have to suffer for a minute or more with crap you don't want to see. @chirpbirb @Nomaxice @Tiwy57 There's also me using an adblocker to hide the dreadful "Trends" section because it's all rage bait and sadness. Without that I get exhausted within minutes of even looking what's trending
