@SamUpstate it depends. the union isn't calling on people to boycott movies at this time as far as I'm aware.

Movie promotion is usually paid work that actors do as a movie is released though, and I believe these guidelines are to make sure that social media influencers don't scab on that struck work.

Personally, I'm not even saying "don't post about them". I'm just suggesting we reflect on if we are doing that promotional work in place of the actors, and consider how we frame our online posting about them with that in mind.

@rose As a rule I would not want to post anyone that would induce someone to go to the theater, buy a DVD, use a subscription movie service, or wach a monetized youtube video of content covered by the strike and de facto boycott.

A "this movie sucks, wish I hadn't wasted my money" review is another matter of course
