@dansup I have always thought of the Fediverse as not just ActivityPub. To me, any social network that uses any form of federation is the Fediverse. And this is because in many instances, when a software implements one protocol, they have the ability to implement another. Not always, always of course. @dansup does it mean that it would open the doors to threads and cohort? @dansup Don’t, unless you’re personally supportive of other standards. More fragmentation “just because” won’t help the independent web. |
