Have you noticed the new @pixelfed app is more responsive and faster?

Plenty more performance improvements are coming, along with some pretty neat features and user requests!

Something you want to see in our official app? Let me know ⬇️

@dansup @pixelfed I only have one request, and I'm not sure if it's a feature that doesn't exist, or that it does and I can't see it. Namely the ability to block something, either a keyword, or a hashtag.

@dansup @pixelfed Not specific to the official app although I have a feature request/idea.

Would be helpfull if the profile could include two website links (one to a regular website and one for Mastodon verification).

Material You support (and auto dark theme) would be nice to have! I tend to use Fedilab/Pixeldroid at the moment, mostly because I like uniformity of look with system colors.

Thanks for you work, btw :)

The ability to post videos would be nice.

Also the curent version seems to have lost double-tap-to-like and and tap-to-zoom.

It would be cool to have a look on font sizes across the app. Currently they are all over the place. Many different sizes on one screen. Makes the screen look really messy. Also font size is really huge mostly. Dynamic type from iOS would be really good

@dansup @pixelfed updated pixelfed app is fast. I love it. But the startup time has increased in my phone. Once in homepage, everything works smoothly and fastly as expected.

@dansup @pixelfed 1) long-press the photo button to pop out the picture options. 2) Live video!

@dansup a more native look on Android would be nice. right now the icons and menus give it an iOS look. even the share and settings icons are taken from iOS, which clashes with the rest of the system's UI

@dansup @pixelfed I’d love a way to turn off haptic feedback. It always gives me a little fright haha

dansup

@meljoann @pixelfed Navigate to Settings -> App Settings -> Tap on "Disable Haptic Feedback"

@dansup For iOS: I’d like to be able to upload multiple photos at once, please.

Also, the photo picker isn’t showing my shared albums. (I’m usually organizing photos on one device and adding some of them to a shared album before later posting them from a different device. So I have to go into the Photos app and download the desired photos into my device library before I can access them in Pixelfed.)

@dansup @pixelfed I haven’t noticed because I don’t have the app. I don’t have the app because it’s not released yet 🤷
