Android users can navigate to Settings -> Android Updates and tap Download latest version or you can grab the latest APK from pixelfed.org/mobile-apps

Please start using the Play Store's beta test system, too! Many Android users cannot install apps in other ways for various security reasons.

@pixelfed much smoother than before but the alt text UI could still be better.

Hard to write descriptions that are accurate when the images being described are tiny thumbnails you can’t enlarge! This applies to both the app and web UI.

@pixelfed @dansup I have the testflight on ios but something happened and I can't update and now it says I need an invite code even though I have the beta already installed. Is there a chance I could get a code sent as it was from a Mastodon post originally which I can't find.
