Gregory's ServerThat's such good news! I am hoping that the new version will no longer place a series of small barriers in the way of entering alt text but make alt text at last the default when images are entered.
The current interface shows a bias against entering alt text because it requires that the user:
1. knows about alt text;
2. knows the required step to enter it; and
3. remembers to take that step.
It will be so much easier (and less biased) when entering alt text is the default.
