 @tweece @christianselig an official Apollo app would be amazing Memmy, Mlem, and Voyager are three pretty decent lemmy apps that all seem to be Apollo-inspired if you want a partial experience @lackthought @christianselig I’ve been using mlem and it’s just ok. Definitely needs a lot of time in the oven  @americanjesus @christianselig yeah, I have another “not Apollo” app, Memmy for Lemmy. But it’s not Apollo.  @christianselig Now you’re just making me sad. Oh can you bring the store back for Apollo shirts? I missed it as I was out of town on vacation (didn’t want to order & have it delivered while I was away).   The gesture system felt so great and natural (inspired by The app was still rough in many areas, but I loved where it was going @christianselig It would’ve been a great iPad app. At least you have all of these tricks to apply to your future projects, whatever they may be.  @christianselig So bummed this died before it even had a chance! Looks like it would have been a real throwback to the early glory days of apps optimized for iPad. @christianselig This is fantastic looking. Really a shame they wouldn’t play ball in anyway. Their apps blow in comparison. @christianselig how hard would it be to modify the app to support the fediverse? Lemmy and Mastadon can always use higher quality apps.  @christianselig This would have been so good on my iPad mini. We need more apps thoughtfully designed for iPadOS. I’m sad we will never get to experience this. @christianselig I’ll be honest, the whole #Reddit debacle started my journey of getting off social media and for that, I’m happy. I literally haven’t been on Reddit (other than reading a few posts because of answers I was looking for) in forever. Haven’t logged in since the API announcement but I miss Apollo so much. It was such a great client. @christianselig that would have been a great experience. Too bad things turned it the way they did. Do you have any plans to create a Mastodon app? I really miss your gesture based navigation from Apollo 😩😭 @christianselig Please bring the Apollo core to a Lemmy client.
