@gamesbymanuel @Illuminatus in many cases digital content is not even possible to access legally. For instance, want to watch classic #DrWho in Finland on your laptop? There is no way to do that outside of piracy. Even most of the new episodes have disappeared and are unavailable from any streaming service. A lot of other material is the same. And even if it is available, chances are it’s on another streaming service which you don’t want a whole subscription for.

Agreed! I wasn't aware of the Dr Who situation, but have often wanted to watch something and had no accessible way to find out if it was available where I was. In the end, it was not.
I would have paid for it, but they didn't let me.

@gamesbymanuel #justwatch (.com) is fairly good at tracking if some content is available to you locally, though it's not perfect.

Agreed, I have often had money in hand, wishing to watch some content, but nobody wants my money. So 'alternative sources' it is, then... Happens particularly with British content. You'd think #BritBox would be there to solve that, but it's rubbish. Barely anything on it.
