Agreed! I wasn't aware of the Dr Who situation, but have often wanted to watch something and had no accessible way to find out if it was available where I was. In the end, it was not.
I would have paid for it, but they didn't let me.

@gamesbymanuel #justwatch (.com) is fairly good at tracking if some content is available to you locally, though it's not perfect.
Agreed, I have often had money in hand, wishing to watch some content, but nobody wants my money. So 'alternative sources' it is, then... Happens particularly with British content. You'd think #BritBox would be there to solve that, but it's rubbish. Barely anything on it.
