@ellenor2000 @thunderbird we'll have to wait until the release to see that, but from what i've read on their blog, almost all of the changes they have introduced will be revertable

and personally, i like the more modern message list, bc the traditional one doesn't work as well if your window is not wide enough, all the from/subject/etc. columns get too narrow and get abbreviated
