@julianfairfax @almaember @photos_floues @Curator @chrisisgr8 the "way to do things" for starters would be for EU countries to stop making deals with regimes people are running away from, like the Libyan one that Meloni's government, with EU Commission permission, is happy to keep supporting. We have to stop interfering when it's convenient for us then shut the door on the issues we caused.

The EU is most definitely not perfect, but I challenge you to find a country/bloc who does better. It is not an excuse, but a comparison.
For all the things that need improving, there are already so many good things. Migration is probably also a bigger problem for the EU, as it's such a good place to live.
