✨ Did you know you can disable comments when composing a new post?

Simply tap on the comments button, it will turn red and you'll see a "Comments Disabled" indicator.

We're working on more advanced comment settings to give our community even more control over their comment sections.

But it would be interesting how it interacts with services that doesn't recognize this addition @pixelfed

@ConnyDuck I agree, it should work that way!

As a sociologist I'm watching closely how such conflicts develop. Until now there were no major disputes about or changes of the protocol, now it's interesting to me if at first services adopt and then the protocol gets adapted or if it's the other way around @pixelfed
