@pixelfed is there a release date soon?
In germany there is now possibly a bit momentum since there was a popular show about the facebook papers.
And my significant other would like to convince some of her sewing fb groups to change.

@tommy yeah any of the Fediverse server types would be fine I guess. Pixelfed and especially Mastodon to me have the nicest interfaces that "normies" would be the least put off by.

@pixelfed for an image oriented site, i don't think this quite fits... Looks more like Facebook than anything I've seen on Fedi. Nevertheless, it's pretty cool!
