@soundwarriorBR I might assume that due to influx of users there might be performance issues on mastodon.social.
You can wait until it's fixed or you can try migrating to a different server that's hopefully less loaded, you will *not* lose your ability to communicate with anyone else on the network!

Yeah, mastodon.social is far too overcrowded. Try moving to a different server, you can find good ones at https://joinmastodon.org/servers or https://fedi.garden
