Really appreciate all the support, but don't worry about me π I'm a burnout but I'm not finna burnout, being able to build projects like these is a dream and y'all keep me energized π 9 comments

I don't really spend that much time coding, half of my time is spent planning / marketing / doing community outreach (like responding to discord questions) I can't afford to burnout, because then my partner will expect me to hang out with his lame friends lmao, i'd rather be here @dansup @pixelfed yeah, but everything you do is mental load, and over time that can wear you down β I've burnt out many times, as well as once having a doctor tell me to quit my job because it was "killing me", and all I can say is, if you can mitigate and avoid potential burnout, it's definitely for the better! @thisismissem @pixelfed Yeah I understand that, I have a pretty cavalier attitude when it comes to typical stressors of maintaining projects. Nobodys life is at risk if a bug isn't immediately fixed, and while it can sting to see negative feedback, I've found reaching out with a solution/fix usually leads to a happy resolution even if I have to swallow my ego and apologize, or ignore the negative aspects. I like to think I have a pretty healthy handle over things, but love the concern β€οΈ @dansup  |
